How credits and plans work
Understand PonPon credits: free daily credits, how each generation is priced, the subscription tiers, the consumption order, and refunds on failed renders.
Generations on PonPon are paid for with credits. This page explains where credits come from and how they're spent.
Free daily credits
Every signed-in account gets a free daily allowance of credits that refreshes each day. It's enough to experiment, learn the tools, and make real clips without a subscription. (Signing in is free and required to generate.)
How a generation is priced
Credits are deducted per generation, and the cost depends on what you're making — the estimated cost is shown before you generate, so there are no surprises:
- Images — priced per image, and higher quality or resolution costs more. Generating a batch multiplies the cost by the number of images.
- Video — priced either per clip or per second, with native audio adding to the cost. Longer clips and higher resolutions cost more.
- Audio — priced by length (characters for speech, seconds for sound effects, minutes for music, voice changing, and dubbing).
- Editing tools — a quick background removal or upscale costs far less than a multi-second video.
In general: bigger, longer, higher-resolution, higher-quality outputs cost more credits.

What subscriptions add
A paid plan raises your credit allowance. PonPon has four tiers — Basic → Pro → Ultimate → Creator — each scaling up the amount of credits you get. Compare them on the pricing page, where the current prices and allowances are always shown.
You can also buy one-off top-up credit packs if you need more in a given period without changing plans.
Where credits are spent first
When you generate, PonPon draws down your balance in a sensible order automatically — your included allowance first, then any reward/bonus credits (soonest-to-expire first), then top-up credits you've purchased. You don't have to manage this.
Checking your balance
Your remaining credits are shown in the top navigation while you're signed in. Your balance, allowance, and plan live on your account, so they follow you across devices — see Accounts and signing in.
